Q: Why did it has to be Oswiecim?

A: Because of its location, Oswiecim (in German “Auschwitz”) is in the middle of Nazi regime.

Bus No 15, fare 10 PLN (100 Baht), takes 90 minutes to the camp (75 kms in the West of Krakow).

Sign written in German at the entrance of the camp  as shown above is not to Welcome the new comers but it says “Work will set you free”. การทำงานจะทำให้ คุณได้รับอิสรภาพ ???

Victims at this camp were categorized by nationalities.

As told by the SS, in order to resettlement , some of victims bought train ticket, known as one-way ticket to death, to go to the camp.

The tickets were bought by them; Jews from Thessaloniki, Greece.

Q: How could they kill mass victims easily? (2,500 victims a time)

A: “Material for Jewish resettlement” in other word poison gas named “Cyclone B” delivered from the ceiling of gas chambers

At the end of the war, commandant of the camp who  was tried and sentenced to death was hanged here.

It is not ordinary trip as usual, but the most valuable trip to be memorized.
